It’s been almost 1 month since we launched Advicetap into Beta!

New members have been joining and the “Conversations” section of the community has really started to pick up!

We’ve also got amazing feedback from key members and experts and we’re working on them in the background.

“The Tap!” Community Newsletter:
Another thing that we have started is a community newsletter called “The Tap!”. This is a regular email newsletter we’ll be sending out to members with community updates, featured members, and exciting community news and updates.

Well another week of building has gone by. It’s been an interesting experience so far as new members join daily and things start to pick up.

Here at Advicetap we keep getting solid feedback from some key members that are using the community and we’re already working on some big changes that we will be releasing very soon so stay tuned.

Also want to send a big thanks out to some of the members that are really stepping up and taking part in these early Beta days of Advicetap including Jeff Waldman, Sue Varty, Aarni Heiskanen, Ken Welsh, Rebel Brown and more!

Well things are moving along nicely here at Advicetap!

More early members are starting to sign up, people are getting involved in the conversations, and the community is starting to build it’s roots.

We’ve also been having more and more expert consultants step up and agree to contribute content into the Advice Hub section of the community. This is great news for all members because it means the content flowing around is going to be of high quality which will help all of us gain new perspectives and advance in this profession – exciting stuff!

The Amazon Gift Card Giveaway:
We’re running a small Amazon.com gift card giveaway to encourage new members to fill in their profiles completely. As soon as we hit the magic number of 40 completed profiles – photo and all, we’ll choose one random member from those 40 and give them a $20 Amazon gift card…So if you’re a member make sure your profile is filled in. If you’re not a member yet then join Beta here

New Consulting Categories
We’ve already taken action on some of the requests we’ve received, like adding more consulting categories.

Blog and Twitter Feed
You can now also add your Twitter feed to your Blog/Twitter feed area in your profile.

Expert Content
This has just started, there’s lots more to come!

Getting Involved
It’s great to see some members really getting involved and participating on the site, I hope more of you join in!

If you’re a consultant and haven’t yet joined the private beta, you can do so by filling in the online form. We’ll review your information and create an Advicetap account for you as quickly as possible.
